Qabîj-g̈îqano Dêtîkè (/ˈp˔ɪko/ /g̃ɪˈqano/ [infinite] [hunter]) is a subtropical Town located in the Vapíatacê Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Qabîj-g̈îqano Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Qabîj-g̈îqano Dêtîkè was founded by Bovria Shêpí, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Overview

Qabîj-g̈îqano Dêtîkè was founded durring the late 13th century in spring of the year 1176, by Bovria Shêpí. The establishment of Qabîj-g̈îqano Dêtîkè suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Qabîj-g̈îqano Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Qabîj-g̈îqano Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.

Qabîj-g̈îqano Dêtîkè is is constructed arround a semi-circular spacious paverstone mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town lacks any defencive features, though certainly constructing even a simple fence or digging a ditch is at the forefront of the 's mind. At least, one would hope so.

Qabîj-g̈îqano Dêtîkè has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Qabîj-g̈îqano Dêtîkè’s streets. In spite of this, quite a few people can be seen reading and the town has an abundance of libraries. It’s quite clear the community values education.

Qabîj-g̈îqano Dêtîkè's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by grandeur of scale, simplicity of geometric forms, dramatic use of columns, and a preference for blank walls. This design ethos extended to re-imagining earlier styles of structure to create them anew, with a similar overall look and feel to one another..

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century several years of heavy rains culminated in a peculiar disaster. A great hole opened up beneath Qabîj-g̈îqano Dêtîkè, swallowing large sections of the community. Qabîj-g̈îqano Dêtîkè lost 207 people, 181 livestock, and 56 buildings in the disaster. This disaster is often refereed to as The Horror Swallowing.
